2 Day Trip To Chuncheon

On second week of april with some of our friends, we planned for a 2 day trip to Chuncheon -si province. For accommodation we reserved a pension located at the bank of buk han river. Buk in Korean means North. The river is not wide in that place and looks almost like a stream.

The Plan: Mid April even though treated as spring is quite cold here in Korea and so we planned a lot of Indoor games, activities and yes went with a big wish list of Indian dishes. Since pension have all kind of cooking facilities, we decided to evaluate our cooking skill there.

We were a group of 15 people and everybody pitched in to help cooking dinner.

Gugok Falls: The next morning we planned to visit Gugok falls around 10km from the Pension.We reached there in no time as there was not much traffic on the way.

But we could not find any water at this time of the year.The fall was all dried but just by seeing the cliff we could imaging how beautiful it would be when water would fall from that height.We bowed to be back in rainy season to enjoy the beauty of the fall and started walking back to the parking lot.

We then started our return journey and were back to Seoul by around 6.30pm.We all went to a Korean Tak Kalbi Restaurant(Kind of Roasted Chicken) for dinner and after dinner all left for our home.
