Its said that no tour to Korea is complete without visiting Jeju do.
This year during the chuseok(Korean thanks giving ) we decided to visit Jeju do .
There are two ways to reach Jeju, one by air, Jeju International Airport has several flights daily via Korean Air and Asiana to Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Jinju, Kunsan, Gwangju, Mokp'o, P'ohang, Ulsan, Yecheon, and Yeosu.
The other option is by ferry. The ferry terminals at Busan, Yeosu, Mokp'o, Wando, Noktong, and Incheon on the mainland has daily boats to Jeju city ferry terminals.
We decided to go by ferry from Mokpo terminal. The main reason behind this is to take the car with us so that we can travel around Jeju for next five days without much problems.
We along with Jagadeesh and Deepa started our journey on 21st September. Mokpo was around 4 hours drive from Suwon . Luckily because of less traffic we reached our destination much earlier.
The ship which took us to Jeju island from Mokpo.
Our ferry was at 8:30 am on 22nd of September. It took around four hours to reach Jeju .

On the way we saw a lot of jelly fishes from the ship deck .
we had booked the ilsung jeju condo for next five days. The view of sea from our room was so refreshing that we forgot our tiredness. Now Jeju is all ours for next five days.
Only a week back a strong typhoon had hit Jeju and caused lots of damage . We could see the damage done but all the attractions were open to welcome the tourists.
The famous tangerines of Jeju.
The Seongsan sunrise peak at Jeju.
We travelled 80 km from our condo to sunrise peak to see the breath taking sunrise . It was really an wonderful experience.
The horse riding farms are very popular in Jeju. One can take the dress shoes for rent at the shop inside the farm.
The horses are well trained and the trainers walked along with us. It was thrilling to be on a horse's back and move around .

Sangumburi crater is over 2km in circumference., and has been designated as a Natural Monument. It is located on the southeast side of Jeju, If you look at the crater from above up, it looks like a man-made circular stadium. There are many varieties of vegetation's found here.

We took a underwater trip by submarine too. The submarine was far from the shore. A boat took us there. The weather was wild that day and we experienced the tremendous wind and high waves inside the boat. But the submarine ride was cool and comfortable. We could see the underwater life till 40 mts under water.

On 26th of september we started around 6 am morning from our condo after five long days of tour and fun.
Good byee Jeju.
Our journey from Jeju to Mokpo was not very smooth initially because of high tides. Inside the ship we decided to sleep . I could feel the high tides but within two hours the sea was calm and it was pleasent.
